Royal Taj Mahal

The rooms were spotless, with daily cleaning, and the cocktails were delicious. The bartenders made them just right. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and ready to help with a smile. I had a fantastic time at Aquamarine. The all-inclusive package had plenty of entertainment to keep everyone happy, and I'd definitely recommend the hotel for a fun, relaxing holiday.

The food selection was okay, and there was a regular shuttle to the beach and back, which is a five-minute walk away if you prefer. The hotel sits right in the middle of a very busy road, with shops and a pharmacy nearby. The staff were brilliant and did their best to help, though only the receptionist spoke English. The rooms are what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel, but honestly, they could use a refurbishment. All in all, not bad.

We liked being able to relax by the pool or take the shuttle to the beach, and the food was great, especially Friday dinners. Most of the staff were kind and helpful, including the managers. The kitchen manager was around at every meal, checking that everything was okay and helping out. The cocktails were fine for the price, though not quite 5-star quality. It's a great-value hotel for families. I'd give it 5 stars for a 4-star hotel.

There are markets, shops, pharmacies, an optical shop, and a medical clinic nearby, so there's plenty going on around the hotel. We chose to walk along the beautiful path to the hotel's private beach, though it is quite far away and a shuttle is available. Our renovated room was cleaned well every day, the food was good, and the mostly young staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel itself is good. The pool is small, the waterslide wasn't running during our stay, and the indoor pool water wasn't warm.
