Side Crown Palace

We were a group of seven, with three rooms booked since February 2025, when we arrived late at night at 1 PM on August 5, 2025. The receptionist gave us rooms in three different buildings, including two rooms intended for people with disabilities. When I asked him to put us in the same building, he shouted at me and said that if I didn’t like it, I could sleep at reception. He had no name badge. I was holding my seven-month-old baby, and this was completely unprofessional and rude. You don’t treat a client like that. In the morning, I spoke to the hotel relations manager, and they were able to change our rooms, so apparently it was possible after all. No comment. I hope the hotel invests in customer service training for that rude receptionist. My friends and I won’t go back.

The shuttle made getting to the beach simple, running every 10 minutes and taking about two minutes to get there. The beach was lovely, and the pools were clean and well kept. There was a good range of tasty food to suit different tastes. Staff were friendly, available, and happy to help. Everything was clean throughout our stay, from our room to the shared spaces and pools. The resort was well organized and made for a comfortable, enjoyable vacation. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

There’s a kids’ disco every evening, followed by a show. The resort also has two pools, one with four water slides, plus a separate children’s pool. Its grounds are spacious and well maintained, and the beach club serves food and drinks through the day. The beach is around a 10-minute easy walk, though the resort also runs its own transport there. The food was delicious, with such a wide selection that it would take at least ten days to try everything. There’s a good variety of drinks too. Our room was excellent, large, with a comfortable bed and big balcony. Staff greeted us warmly at the entrance, and check-in took just two minutes. I was a little unsure about my choice at first, but arriving changed my mind. I’m very happy with this accommodation for our summer holiday.

The drinks were disappointing, with very little alcohol in them, and the beach was a fairly inconvenient 10-minute walk away. When we arrived, there was no hospitality to speak of. We were given a basement room with a musty smell, which was especially unacceptable with two small children. I asked about a better room and was told I’d need to pay extra, even though I had already booked and paid through an agency. I reluctantly looked at alternatives, but when I tried to pay for an upgraded room by credit card, the receptionist refused and insisted on cash. I felt forced to withdraw money so we wouldn’t have to spend the holiday in a damp, musty room. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.
