Alba Resort Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

The food was great, the staff were friendly and funny, and the rooms were clean with great pools. The slides were closed during my visit, unfortunately, but the place was worth the price.

The food was the highlight, genuinely outstanding in quality, freshness, and choice every day. The grounds were spacious and green, full of trees and flowers, and clearly well cared for. Our renovated room had a very comfortable bed, and a friendly cat that seemed well looked after by staff visited our balcony each day. The sandy beach was clean, with a nearby bar for water, coffee, or a cold beer. We also liked having one pool with music and activities and another quiet one. There were some letdowns. The building is old, and the lobby furniture and style look dated and need renovation. My husband cut his foot on an old tile while leaving the pool, so be careful. The alcohol wasn't very good, though we enjoyed the Turkish tea and coffee. Spa prices were higher than spas we've been to in Austria, so we didn't try it. The minibar wasn't refilled during our stay, and someone only asked if we needed anything on the last day. In the bathroom there was no shampoo or separate conditioner, just a two-in-one shampoo and body gel, the poorest toiletries choice we've seen in a Turkish hotel. We stayed at Alba Resort Hotel for five days. As a couple without children, we'd probably choose another Turkish city next time, with more to do outside the hotel. Still, a big thanks to everyone at the resort: the kitchen, waitstaff, bartenders, reception, animation team, bellmen, gardeners, and cleaning crew. You work hard and it shows. Special thanks to Fethi, one of the groundskeepers. We saw him working tirelessly every day to keep the grounds spotless and beautiful.

Our daughter had a great time with the pools, kids club, trampolines, and minizoo, and she enjoyed the main cafeteria food too. We visited as a family in May and loved the stay from start to finish. The food in the other lounges was amazing as well, and the service was perfect. Staff were so friendly and kept checking how we were doing. We also had a photoshoot at the hotel and got wonderful pictures. Highly recommend it for families with kids.

The AC was off for the first half of my week-long stay, and it was so hot that eating inside was impossible. The outdoor restaurant should have a non-smoking section, since people smoked everywhere and nobody enforced the no-smoking signs. When I asked about it, I got no answer. The reception manager also wasn't very friendly when we asked for a third bed in the room. The cocktails weren't good either, the ingredients didn't taste great. That's why I gave it three stars.
