Ali Bey Resort Sorgun

There’s an on site spa, shop, nail and hair salon, and private beach, and you don’t need all inclusive wristbands because everyone knows your face. The food was amazing, from sushi and king prawns to beef brisket, and the desserts were the best I’ve ever seen or tasted. Everything about this hotel felt five star: food, cleanliness, and friendly staff who all went out of their way to help. What an amazing place, I’d highly recommend it.

Even in Antalya’s heat, the trees around Ali Bey Resort Hotel made everything feel cool and refreshing. The beach and sea were excellent, and the food was great, especially the baklava. We had a wonderful stay.

The trees are beautiful and provide cool shade in summer, and the beach is sandy with enough sunbeds. The hotel sits in a forest right by the beach, with modern, spacious rooms. The restaurant is large, so there was no waiting, and the staff were polite. Food was fine though repetitive, while the desserts were top notch. The minibar was free. Service didn’t feel five star, though. Rooms should be cleaned while guests are out, and when I asked for a bath towel at noon because cleaning was delayed, I was told to wait, but cleaning didn’t come for another three hours. Once the minibar wasn’t fully restocked. I also requested a shuttle to my room at reception, waited 15 minutes, then gave up and walked. It’s a decent hotel, but I personally wouldn’t return.

We were satisfied overall. The hotel’s architecture, setting, and landscaping were lovely, and the rooms were roomy and practical, with no carpet. Food was average and service slowed down when it got busy. You need to claim a spot early by the sea or pool, otherwise there may not be a seat. Those things could be improved.
