Antonios Motel

The owners at antonios are lovely and really care about their guests, offering help whenever they can. We had an awesome time. They make the food themselves, with different dishes each day. The rooms are small but cozy, and the beds are relaxing. There’s plenty to do nearby, with bars, restaurants, shops and several beaches in the district.

The family running the hotel are super friendly, and the location is extraordinary. It’s set among the ruins of ancient Side, close to the beach, and the rooms are very clean. The rooms are a little old, but the price is super reasonable. If you want to feel at home, I highly recommend this place.

This is a charming, old-fashioned little motel in a pretty village surrounded by amazing Roman ruins. From my room I had a beautiful sea view towards Antalya, and there’s a lovely garden for breakfast. The owners are a very nice, polite family. The harbour and beach are only a short walk away. My room had a terrible shower, a broken light and broken air conditioning. There was no TV in my room, although the rooms on either side had one. Breakfast was mostly the same items each day, and felt more like lunch food. Still, it’s such a pretty place that I’d probably come again.

Side’s history and spectacular ruins draw relatively few of its visitors, while many seem content to spend their money on cheap trinkets, overpriced kitsch and junk food as they wander around taking selfies. After those tourist crowds, walking into Antonio's Motel felt like finding a refuge from it all. A young family runs it and welcomed me into their authentic world with warm hospitality and real value. Coming back from the surrounding tourist bustle, I had everything I needed: a cozy, nicely appointed room with a balcony, a spotless bathroom, a comfy bed and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was excellent, and the optional dinners are highly recommended. I might never have dared visit Side if the useful reviews of Antonio's hadn’t convinced me I’d be well looked after and could survive the tourist chaos. Thank you very much!
