Calimera Side Resort

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice, and now that I’m home I’m already missing it. I’ll be back soon, Side. Much love. The barber deserves applause for the braids he did for me, and seeing the cats around the hotel made me so happy because I love cats. The staff are humble and treat people well. The rooms are nice, the cleaners do an amazing job, and both the food and desserts are 10/10. I also enjoyed the pools, waterslides, bar, and evening shows. The location is good for the sea, and exploring the old town in side was special.

The kids' disco was a lovely way to finish each day, and both my children really enjoyed it. My daughter was also delighted by the alcohol-free cocktails and ice cream. Restaurant and bar service was brilliant, and the beach shuttle and loungers there were a nice touch. We’ve just come home after a week at this resort, and I’d recommend it highly to families. It was spotless and well maintained. The staff seemed to be constantly working, and after a huge thunderstorm and sandstorm everyone pitched in to clean up straight away. They reopened the kids' pool the next day and worked tirelessly on the main pools. Our room was a good size for a family of four, and just as clean as the rest of the resort. We’d book here again if we were in the area.

The nightly entertainment was the highlight for us, and the bartenders made great cocktails included in the all-inclusive stay. The food was mostly really good too. Thanks to Mikail, Erkan, and everyone else for all the hard work and hospitality. People here have big hearts and live in the moment. The slide pool was too cold, and it would be nice to have a sauna guests can use for free. We’d come back! 🙏

The land-view room was noisy, and the outside fan took some getting used to. We were above the area where staff arrive, so woke very early. Nearby guests were worse, waking us in the early hours every night and twice last night. That isn't the hotel's fault, and I'm sure they would have moved us if I'd asked. None of it spoiled the holiday, and next time I'd definitely upgrade. We arrived on 24th April and are still here, already sad to leave. It was my first time in side as a single parent with a 12-year-old, and I was nervous, but I felt safer here than at home. The place is spotless and constantly cleaned. The lovely lady at the aqua park worked in the heat and kept smiling and being so friendly. The pools are really good, and we spent most of our time at the aqua park side. Drinks were better around the main pool, just a short walk away, with cocktails and all. The food was really good too. Every staff member is friendly, talks to you, smiles, and makes you feel welcome. The bar staff are amazing at making cocktails and making sure your stay is good. Thank you for a great stay 😊
