Lemas Suite Hotel

We loved the cosy bar, pool, and hotel, and the food and drinks were great. The restaurant was good too, with excellent service. The cook was skilled, and the service was amazing, especially from the staff member who deserves a raise. They worked such long hours, remembered guests' names, favorite seats, and food, and were always cheerful and attentive. We enjoyed the small family hotel feel and the lovely restaurant and front desk service. Mohammed made us feel welcome and was a big help when we locked ourselves out. Our room was spacious, the beds were fine, and the shower was clean and pleasant, though sometimes too cool for my taste since I like it steaming hot. In that weather it was okay. The kitchen was badly equipped, but the air conditioning worked very well. The room cleaning was okay, though not great on some days. We also liked taking the shuttle to copa beach. Lunch there was good, and we enjoyed the walk along the beach to the old town. We had a really nice stay and would definitely book again.

We had a lovely, relaxing 10 days at Lemas Suite Hotel. It's in a quiet spot at the edge of the resort. We stayed in a large one-bedroom apartment with a refurbished bathroom, mostly self-catering, though we also had some excellent hotel dinners. The banquet night meal was outstanding, and the live entertainment was good too. The free bus to the private beach club was handy, and we used it most days. Staff were very friendly and the service was great. Smaller hotels seem better at looking after what you need. We couldn't fault the place. We think it only has a 2+ star rating because there's no lift.

The bed was the one thing that really bothered me. I could feel the springs in mine and it was unbearable, though my wife's bed was fine. I ended up using a sunbed cushion for padding, haha. The restaurant was great and the BBQ night was amazing. We liked having separate adult-only and family-friendly areas, so we could enjoy a pool without kids around. The shuttle to the private beach was great, and it's about a 20-minute walk into town, which was hard in the heat but manageable. Staff were all lovely. Some parts of the hotel feel a bit run down, though hopefully they'll keep improving them. Otherwise, it's a really great place.

The staff were really friendly, and even though the hotel isn't new, you can see they take good care of it. It's a nice place a little outside the city, so remember you'll need to walk to the beach or city centre. Reviews mention a transfer, but maybe that's not running in mid-April. If you're on a budget or looking for a good deal, it's a great place for a holiday in Side ✨✨✨
