Sato Hotel

Breakfast was very limited: one slice of cheese, one egg, and one slice of meat. Bread and coffee or tea were unlimited. The staff had very poor English. Wi-Fi worked well in the restaurant, but on the higher floors you might struggle to get a signal. The room pictures on the hotel's website looked out of date, showing what seemed to be an older condition from before the renovation. The room itself was dirty, with dust everywhere and very dirty floors. There was no cleaning, and I think it’s quite possible rooms aren’t cleaned between guests. The walls and equipment had been poorly renovated, and the wall lights had no bulbs. There was also a terrible, strong smell, something like cat's urine. The owner said it was caused by dampness. I strongly don’t recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this traditional hotel. The setting is amazing and the location worked really well for us. We enjoyed being there and would happily stop by again in the future.

This feels like a summer-only hotel. In February the rooms are too cold, and the bar and restaurant areas are closed, so I wouldn't come then.
