Sun Beach Park

For five of us, the five-night stay was absolutely worth the price. Breakfast began at 7 and the final dinner was at 9:30, with snacks in between. Food was as expected, with fresh fruit, sandwiches, pasta, rice, lasagna, several salads and plenty more. The desserts at dinner had a particularly big selection. The cleaning staff were excellent. One woman was especially lovely: she cleaned the room perfectly, left chocolate snacks for the kids, and folded the sheets into crocodiles and swans, which made them laugh. The pool is a good size, though watch out for people reserving loungers with towels 😂. There’s free Wi-Fi in the lobby, and paid Wi-Fi was available for €12.

Brilliant staff and really good food made this a very good hotel for my week’s stay. It was my first time in Turkey, and I’m glad I chose this place. I’m coming back and would recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were worn out, and there were lots of German guests. The food wasn’t great, so despite being all-inclusive, we ate out more often than at the hotel.

The room’s so-called minibar wasn’t there, just a kettle with no accessories. The bathroom was dirty, with toothpaste on the shower glass, and staff were rude, walking away in the middle of conversations. Ice cream was meant to be free but cost extra. The food was terrible. For breakfast I expected a full English, but there were eggs, pancakes, cakes and fruit that was black. The beer was watered down, and they only had gin and wine, no shorts. The TV looked like it was from 1980. It’s listed as a four-star place, but I wouldn’t give it even one star. Don’t take children, it isn’t safe. I was also told a staff member was perving on young girls. The flies were horrible, even during meals. This was a holiday from hell. Never go to Sun Star Beach Hotel in Turkey.
