The room was lovely, with a large, comfortable bed and bedding, a nice bathroom, complimentary dressing gown and slippers, and a free mini bar. I would have liked English TV channels, though that may not matter to everyone. The food was good quality, and I especially liked the beach bar for lunch. The main restaurant was good in the evening too, particularly the fresh meat. Some of the pre-cooked dishes were a little strange, perhaps aimed more at German and Russian guests, no offence intended. There were lots of dessert choices if that’s your thing. We tried just one fine dining restaurant, the Italian. The courses were nice apart from the soup, which was minestrone in name but definitely not minestrone. The main guy came across quite stern, and we felt rushed. Maybe he was just having a bad day. We skipped the evening shows, so can’t comment on them. They were mostly outdoors in the amphitheatre, which seemed chilly, and I’m not keen on tiered wooden seating. There was a piano player downstairs near the restaurants most evenings for about an hour. I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t everyone’s taste. The evenings felt quite subdued, and the place was a bit posher than we’re used to. The main downside was the icy-cold swimming pool, which hardly anyone used. I believe the hotel heated one pool towards the end of our holiday, but that area then got too busy for sunbeds and had lots of children, which could be too much for some. We enjoyed our stay, but would come back only at a good price as an extra break alongside our main holiday. English guests were definitely in the minority, and not many staff spoke English, though it didn’t bother us too much.

We had a great stay, and I’d recommend the hotel. The beach is close by, and the staff were always smiling. They even took food samples to check its quality. The food was good in both quality and variety for me, and our room was clean and had no mold. We had trouble changing rooms because it was crucial for us to sleep somewhere quiet with the windows open and no air conditioning, but the staff did let us choose a room. Sometimes there were too many flies, which could be a safety risk for people.

I liked the cocktails at the beach bar, the nighttime shows, and the hamam massage at the hotel. The massage wasn’t included and had to be paid for separately. The staff were all kind, especially Tunuc from Petissarie, Daria and the other woman at customer service, and the massage staff. There was also a sauna included in the booking, swimming pools, and a small gym. It was all inclusive, with food available practically all day, and all you could eat. I could book dinner at the other restaurants inside the hotel without an extra charge, including French, Turkish, Mexican, and Italian. The beach was about two minutes away on foot, with enough umbrellas for everyone. I also walked along the beach to Side and stopped for lunch at another Sentido Trendy on the way. I just showed my bracelet and ate for free. There could be more vegan choices at lunch, dinner, coffee time, and for desserts. Restaurants didn’t have plant milk, only Petissarie did, and there were no savory vegan spreads for bread, like hummus. The cleaning could have been better. On the first day, there was a bunch of dirty, wet hair hanging in the shower, maybe left by previous guests. I left it there to see if it would be removed the next day, but it wasn’t, and I had to clear the disgusting hair myself. Twice, someone unlocked and opened the door while I was in bed, without knocking or ringing. It scared me and felt really weird. I kept a special necklace rolled in paper with some cheap bijouterie in a small bathroom pocket. Once I was in a hurry and left the necklace on the paper outside that pocket. It was gone when I came back. Customer service kindly offered to search the hotel’s trash containers, but I never heard anything further. I know it was my fault for letting it disappear. I should have kept it in the safe, and tried not to let it spoil the trip.

The kitchen was fantastic, and the staff were caring and smiling, whether they were waiters, bartenders, or room cleaners. Plates vanished as soon as we finished eating, they were that quick. Cleanliness and customer service were at the highest level, and you can communicate in English. They quickly changed our room when we asked, giving us a better location that suited three people more. We did have a couple of reservations. When we arrived at 1 am, nobody showed us to our room. A bellboy brought our suitcases much later, so tired, we wandered around the hotel trying to find it since there are several blocks. At the swimming and relaxation pool, some visitors ignored the instructions, splashing balls around and throwing themselves into the water. The lifeguard warned them and stopped those activities, but it happened every day and made it hard to swim peacefully. It’s the only pool where you can swim without inflatables, shouting, and splashing, so it would help to post its rules clearly.

The beach was wide, with a gentle entry into the sea and enough sunbeds. Shops and shopping centers are plentiful around the hotel. The room had everything needed for a holiday and was very nice, and the whole hotel was cleaned meticulously. Food and mixed drinks were fantastic. Staff were neat, professional, and friendly, always greeting us with a smile. It was a wonderful holiday, and I’d happily come back. I definitely recommend it, even to the most demanding guests.
