The owners are so kind, and the price is good. It’s only two minutes from Apollo Temple, a great place if you want to stay near the seaside.

The sea and beach are beautiful, with clear water and sand, and boats sometimes dock just offshore in the bay where people stop for a swim. The hotel is right by the water and only a two-minute walk from the beach, almost in the middle of the ancient city. It felt like a holiday surrounded by history. We’d been unsure about booking until we read the reviews, then decided to give it a try. Nazmiye looked after us so well that we felt at home. The hotel was spotless and hygienic, and she was always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and made to our preferences after they asked us what we wanted the day before. We could also use the guesthouse kitchen during our stay. I’ve stayed in many hotels, motels, and guesthouses in different resorts, but this is one where I truly felt at home.

We came back this year after staying here two years ago, and it still feels like a good value for a modest place. The rooms are very clean, and the larger family rooms let you stay with the children and keep an eye on them, so groups can be comfortable too. The owner, Rıza, is attentive and helps with transport and other things. Since cars aren't allowed in this ancient city, you can leave yours at the municipal parking lot and Rıza will pick you up. Breakfast and dinner are available if requested, and there's also a kitchen you can use for a small fee. The sea view from the room is stunning, with the clean sea and fine sand just 100 steps away. It's easy to get to cafés, restaurants and the market, and the location works especially well if you're travelling without a car. It's comfortable with children too, since you can sit in the sun while they play in the sand. I'd recommend it.
