Villa Side Hotel

The beach was clean and sandy, and the location was great. We had our best holiday ever at Villa Side Hotel - Kümkoy Beach - Turkey, with fantastic food and drinks, a great hotel, wonderful service, and amazing staff. I’ll always remember this trip. I really recommend it, it deserves 5 stars. Thanks a million ❤. See you next year.

Getting to the beach through the hotel’s “beach tunnel” was a nice touch. The pool was big enough for lots of people and fun for families with young kids. Our room felt cozy and had high tech features. There was also plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great hotel, I can only recommend it!

We enjoyed the food, especially the fresh fruit and vegetables, though ingredient details weren’t given, which isn’t very helpful for vegetarians. The grounds were comfortable, with pools and a couple of small slides for children. The hotel is on the second line from the beach, with a quick transfer, though I preferred to walk because it was close enough. Rooms were clean, service was good, and the views were nice. We could also use the neighboring five-star Residence hotel’s facilities, including a small gym, indoor pool, large outdoor pool, water slides, and evening programs.

The carpets in our room smelled bad, and the damp Antalya climate makes them a poor fit, especially in a hotel that hasn’t been renovated for decades. The walls and bathrooms were in bad shape, and the dark, poorly lit stairs looked ugly and ancient in the evening. The price didn’t match what we got. I found hair in my meal twice, which was disgusting, and the management was rude and seemed to care only about money. People weren’t wearing masks in the lobby, restaurant, or crowded areas. I’d been coming to Villa Side Hotel for nine years and thought it was okay until this year. After the pandemic, the management changed completely, and even cleaning and meals weren’t like before. This summer was my last visit. I won’t return, and neither will my family or friends. I hope others don’t have the experience we did.
