Water Side Resort & Spa

We travelled as a group of five: me, my husband, mum, brother, and his wife. Every one of us had a wonderful time, with no complaints or suggestions for improvement. The place felt fun, welcoming, and full of good energy, and we're absolutely coming back. The beach was under five minutes away, with its own food and drink bar and a relaxed setup. We loved the varied food, especially the fresh Turkish flatbreads made outside each afternoon with cheese, potato, or sugar. I had one every day. Our room was spotless and fresh after daily cleaning, thanks to the lovely cleaner. Entertainment brought different lively shows each evening, plus a disco from 11 pm to 1 am with music in many languages. Daytime activities included darts, volleyball, table tennis, tennis, boules, and golf. Pool activities weren't running because the water was too cold and hardly anyone was swimming, which made sense to me. The spa was a highlight: I used the sauna, steam room, and Turkish hamam every day, and the staff were wonderful. My mum loved her full-body massages and said after the first she felt like a new person; her therapist was skilled, professional, and caring. The animation team made the holiday ten times better. Elif and Ahmed felt like close friends by the end, and saying goodbye was sad. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to, their English was excellent, and Ahmed spoke several languages. The hotel also used six languages for activities and evening shows, helping international guests feel included. Rooms, food, activities, entertainment, and staff were all great. Waterside Resort & Spa deserves its five stars.

Elif and Meri were so kind, lively, and attentive with the children. My daughter Hannah had a wonderful time and didn't want the day to end. The games and activities were creative, fun, and well organized, and they made sure every child felt included and happy. It was clear they care about the kids and love their work. Thanks to both of them for making the experience special and unforgettable for Hannah. We'll definitely come back, and I highly recommend them as kids animators.

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff took good care of us during our early April family break. It was easy to walk to the beach, though the free shuttle was handy with bags; food and drinks were included there too. Getting around was straightforward: Side made a nice day out and was easy to reach by bus, local market buses were frequent and simple, and the airport transfer took about an hour as described when we booked. The hotel is dated, but spotlessly clean, which matters more to us. We arrived on April 6 as the season was starting. For a family of four, note that the fourth bed was an armchair that converted into a bed; it worked for us, but may matter with older children. Food had a good range of Turkish dishes and familiar favorites. The all inclusive drinks could use more choice: there were no international brands, just one lager, and limited spirits and wine. It wasn't a major issue, and we still had a brilliant stay. For a clean, friendly place with good transport and a hardworking team, it's a solid choice for a simple sunny family break. We'd consider returning.

The beach is only a five-minute walk away, and guests have a private section with free loungers and food served right on the sand. Back at the resort, there are two pools, including a 1.5 m pool for adults and a shaded one for kids, plus indoor and outdoor dining. The aqua park has four slide routes, and games run through the day in the pool and gardens. I also enjoyed the steam room, sauna, and Turkish bath. There’s a wide buffet with plenty of choice every day, and all the food is halal. Families can also get help arranging excursions. A really lovely stay with excellent service. Local buses to nearby areas cost just 45 TL per person.
