The room was clean and the staff polite, but this is more like renting a detached house than having a mansion experience. Don’t expect luxury, a great view, or much natural light. It’s also quite far from the center, so there’s a fair bit of walking, and the parking lot they mentioned is far away too. If the price is reasonable compared with nearby places, you only need somewhere to sleep, and you like walking, it could work for you.

We were four friends staying here, and the clean bedspreads and pillowcases mattered to us, as did the reasonable price. It’s a historic mansion, and we enjoyed the raki (Turkish aniseed spirit). Getting around the Mardin location involves some stairs, but we appreciated the service.

You’re surrounded by Mardin’s distinctive scenery and historic places. The hotel looked just like the photos, and it was beautiful, clean, neat, and well organized. Mr. Haşim was attentive and communicated really well. Thanks for having us.

The place was tidy and just as clean as it looked in the pictures. I was very happy with the attentive service and organization. Whenever I come to Mardin, this will be my first choice for a place to stay.
