We were glad we gave this place a try after finding it on Trivago. It was a delightful stay in a 700-year-old traditional Turkish mansion that's been very well maintained. Our room had its own gamma, which made for a great experience. Breakfast was tasty, with a well-stocked buffet, and “Seamus” (the way the Turkish name is pronounced) was helpful with everything. The location is high above the old city, though, and you can't really drive right up to the entrance. Expect to walk to and from the market.

Şeyhmuz deserves special thanks for going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Everyone was kind and helpful throughout our stay at Fairouz Konak Hotel. We'd gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Mardin. We had a wonderful time here. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our 8-9 days of travel, this was honestly one of the best.

Coşkun bey and Serhat bey helped make our stay special, and the whole hosting team was friendly and good at finding solutions. The 700-year-old konak sits in an authentic, tucked-away part of Mardin, close to everything but away from the bustle of the main Carsi street. Highly recommend it for a nice stay.

The breakfast was the highlight for me: fresh, flavorful, and full of choices like bread, cheese, eggs, and olives. It was a wonderful way to start the day. My girlfriend and I stayed at Farioz Otel in December, and the owner made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He was always around to answer questions or help. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with a good bed and a clean, modern bathroom. I can't recommend Fairouz Otel enough. The friendly owner, comfortable room, and amazing breakfast made it one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Eastern Turkey. Raul & Arushi
