We spent two days here and everything was great. The staff were especially welcoming. It's right in the center, with public transport a minute away and restaurants and winery houses two minutes away. I strongly recommend it.

The owners’ warmth made the stay feel special, and they seem to be doing their best to give every guest that kind of experience. The place isn’t up to Western hotel standards in its furniture or walls, but the atmosphere and their friendliness meant a lot to us. We wanted somewhere simple and inexpensive, close to the center, where we’d feel safe. Any local interaction would have been a nice extra. For us, it was just right for enjoying Mardin. I think some of the negative reviews may come from overlooking the link between price and quality.

They took me in at the last minute and even gave me dinner and tea at no charge. This is a welcoming, family-run homestay in the middle of the old city, with a rooftop terrace. Of the budget places I found in Mardin, it was the best option. I’d recommend it.

The rooftop view was a great bonus, and the price was low for an experience that felt so memorable. I’d happily return. I’m from Atlanta Georgia, and Mardin was completely different and adventurous for me. I loved the architecture throughout the place and how it gave me a sense of the beauty of the culture. It was my first visit, so I didn’t know what to expect, but the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The service was still 10/10, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re after something out of the ordinary.
