Royal History Butik Otel

The worst hotel experience of my life. The toilets were awful, with a bad smell and insects everywhere. The beds smelled bad too, like urine. 😷😷

They don’t answer the phone. Maybe it’s fake.

The hilltop setting gives you an impressive view over Mardin’s historical heritage. If the view is all that matters to you, it might still work. But our standard room was mediocre, and comfort and cleanliness had serious problems. The bed smelled dusty and damp. The bathroom was unhygienic, with hair and dander on the floor, and we also had an electrical fault. Given these issues, I can’t recommend it for the price. We stayed at Royal History Hotel in Mardin on April 17-18, 2025, in a standard bed and breakfast room.

There were two of us girls staying at the hotel, and the staff helped us in every way. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view gave us all of Mardin at our fingertips. In the evening, the attendant walked with us to the market because the roads were a bit dark and confusing. Later, when we couldn’t find the hotel because its location was wrong, we called and they immediately sent someone to pick us up. Breakfast was a mixed meal at Seyr-i Merdinde, and it was delicious. We had a great time. Thank you so much for everything. We definitely recommend Royal History ☺️
