Turabdin Hotel

Hotel Turabdin was a great choice for exploring Midyat on foot. It's near the main historic sites and the old town center, and combines traditional hospitality with modern comfort. The staff were so kind and attentive, always ready to help. My room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with fresh sheets and a spotless bathroom. I'd definitely recommend it for a peaceful, clean stay with great service.

Turabdin Hotel is proudly owned by the Syriac people, which gave the stay an authentic cultural feel. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with lots of delicious choices each morning, and parking was easy and convenient. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well kept. Staff were professional, welcoming, and attentive, always making sure guests felt cared for. Special thanks to the owner, Ediba, for hospitality and dedication that went above and beyond. I had an excellent stay in Midyat and will absolutely return. I'd highly recommend it to family and friends.

The location is perfect, just outside the noisy city, with a lovely view of the old city on one side and the beautiful monastery on the other. We walked to the old city every evening and enjoyed the old buildings and its pleasant atmosphere. My wife and kids loved it too. The owner and her staff were very friendly and did their best for us. The staff were consistently kind and accommodating, and the hotel was impeccably clean. Its setting made it convenient to explore nearby while still feeling like a secluded retreat. The cats around the property were a delight, and it was clear they were cared for with love. One morning we were quite late for breakfast, but Ms. Diba Gabriel graciously made us a lovely meal anyway. Her warmth and hospitality were remarkable. She welcomed us like cherished guests in a magical haven and even sent us off with roses. One evening, the staff lit a cozy outdoor fire, and we sat and savored Dara, their exquisite house-made red wine. It was one of the best wines I've ever had, and went perfectly with the peaceful atmosphere. The historic building is an architectural masterpiece, full of character and charm. Every corner seems to hold a story from the past, yet the place feels peaceful and serene in a way that's hard to find in today's busy world. This felt like a sanctuary for the soul. I'll return when I need to escape the chaos and reconnect with beauty, peace, and kindness. Ms. Diba Gabriel has created something truly special, and I'm deeply grateful for the experience.
