This definitely isn't a four-star hotel like it says in the listing. The room we had was advertised with a kitchen, washing machine and minibar, but none of those were there. They also don't clean the rooms every day, and our bathroom was filthy. We even found a cockroach in the room. These are serious health hazards, and we won't be back.

Some of my best hotel stays were here, on business trips to Antalya, Turkey several years ago. The hotel had a different name then, though I believe it had the same owner. The owner and staff were fabulous, kind and gracious, and I’ve told people over the years what a lovely place it was and that they should stay here if they visit Turkey. I’m glad to see the photos and hope it’s still open. The rooms were always nice, with comfortable beds and very hot showers. And the food was phenomenal, fresh, well seasoned, and unlike what I can get where I live. I’ll never forget it. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel and restaurant operate together, despite claiming they aren’t connected. When we objected to being charged €200 for two bottles of wine, which would usually cost no more than €30 in Turkey, they wanted to fight us over it. I reported it to the police and trading standards. Avoid this place.

The rooms were just OK and the hotel was clean, but the pictures don’t reflect what it’s really like. My worst hotel experience was the reception and customer service. The desk was empty about 90% of the time, and when we arrived, the rude, unprofessional guy there couldn’t find our reservation. We waited almost an hour with our passports in hand. He barely spoke to us and kept asking if we were “Beni,” “Maria,” or some other random names, even though our names were on the passports he was holding. Maybe he couldn’t read them. Once we finally got our room, there was no hot water in the shower after more than 10 hours of travel. It happened again later, too. You’d think you could call reception by pressing “0,” but nobody picked up because no one was sitting there during the day. Instead, you have to walk downstairs and hope to find staff outside playing around. Good luck if you book here. It’s at your own risk.
