The room was big, comfortable, well equipped, and we had a great stay. The staff were polite and friendly, though communicating was difficult because they didn’t speak English. The management is remote, so staff had to call them a few times, and they didn’t handle our booking through an online platform properly. Even with those problems, it’s an awesome place. It’s tucked away in the old town’s maze of stairs, so leave the car at a parking area and walk in with light gear.

The terrace looking over Mardin’s old historic structure was the best part. This felt like a magical place, with hotel architecture straight out of a fairytale. The building has 900 years of history, and our stylish room was amazing and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, and the service was so kind.

You really sink into the region’s atmosphere here, and the beautiful view makes you feel as if time has stopped. The host, Yusuf Bey, was hospitable and helped us arrange sightseeing in the area. It felt like a Scheherizada fairy tale. If you want to live in a fairy tale, this is the place!

The view is good, but you get views like that all over the city, and lots of hotels are built from historic stone. Neither is a reason to overcharge tourists. I paid 150 TL for a single room with no breakfast. It was hard to access, and the only staff member was a 12 year old boy. Way overpriced and a scam. Bad!

It’s a magical place, with an amazing terrace view and really nice people. The building is 900 years old, and the room was super stylish. The 200 meter walk from the car is worth all the advantages. What more could you need? I absolutely recommend this hotel.
