Kaya Ninova Hotel

Breakfast on the roof terrace was awesome, with a view across the whole landscape. We also appreciated the professional, friendly concierge and reception staff, who handled our requests well. The hotel is large and modern, right in the city center. The rooms are medium-sized, and the bathrooms have an old Ottoman feel. For spring visits, all rooms have mosquito nets. The car park is a long way off, but the Parkman takes your car, and you don't need it in Mardin.

For the price they charge, this was completely not worth it. My first room was underneath a huge machine on the rooftop. It was incredibly loud and made the room shake. They moved me to a lower level, but I could still hear it, so I had to sleep with earplugs. Without them, sleep was impossible. The internet was unreliable, the shower head was rusty, and the staff seemed indifferent. I've stayed in most hotels in Turkey for a third of the price and had better experiences. I wouldn't stay here.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helped with every request, especially sorting out parking on a busy street. The hotel is beautiful, with great views. Breakfast on the terrace was a particular highlight, looking out over the Mesopotamian plains.

The breakfast was excellent, with a beautiful view, and there's also a small cozy coffee spot next to the street. I really recommend going there. The hotel is so close to everything, and the hospitality was wonderful. I arrived early for check-in, but reception helped get my room ready ASAP and could answer all my questions. One of them even called before I arrived to check on me. Everything I needed in the room was there, and they helped arrange a tour around Mardin with some very nice people. A perfect choice in Mardin. Thanks to the staff and organizers for their hospitality. I highly recommend staying here.
