Begonville Beach Hotel

The team is what makes this place so lovely. They make you feel so at home you don't want to leave. Thanks for such a good time! The rooms are on the small side, and the food isn't all the same, so you can usually find something you'll enjoy. Just be aware that some listings say there's a pool, but there isn't one here. The beach is right in front, though, and sun loungers are free to use.

We only had three days in the area and wanted to explore, so we booked bed and breakfast rather than all inclusive. The breakfast buffet was very good, and there's a roomy outdoor dining area right by the sea. The hotel was clean and welcoming, and the all-inclusive option seemed reasonably priced. We'd stay again.

The beachside setting was fantastic, but that's about the only thing that worked for us. We spent most meals eating out because the food didn't suit English tastes, and plenty of items weren't included in the all-inclusive package. The cocktails were basic juice mixed with vodka or gin. Staff weren't very welcoming, and the limited English at reception led to confusion. We also hadn't realized there were two Begonville Hotels. The pool was at the other one, so there wasn't a pool here. After a week, we won't be coming back.

On my second trip to marmaris this year, I chose this hotel and would gladly stay again next year. The food was plentiful and so good that I never needed to eat out. My room was cleaned to a high standard every day, and the staff were brilliant and friendly. Teyfur at reception, if I've got the spelling right, was especially kind. He helped me find transport, suggested places to visit, and checked in when I was unwell for a couple of days with a bit of sunstroke. He even brought me water in the lobby and made sure I was drinking enough. He treated other guests just as helpfully too. I won't forget that level of care. It's a beautiful hotel, and I can't fault my stay.
