Blue Paradise Apart

The good parts were that the apartment was clean and the location was decent, within walking distance of the main strip and beach. But this was advertised as a penthouse and turned out to be a small apartment on the top floor, shared with three others. It felt very outdated. There’s air conditioning only in the bedroom, and it had been switched off internally. We had to call the owner for help. He wasn’t pleased about climbing four flights of stairs and made a sarcastic comment as he left. He did help carry one suitcase, though he wasn’t happy about it. There’s no lift, so we had to haul the rest of our luggage up ourselves. The common areas have no air conditioning either. With the rest of the apartment unbearably hot, it was basically unusable. My wife and I had been living in Dubai for the last seven months, where the average heat was 48 degrees, but this place still left us feeling deflated. The shower head was mounted only about 2.5 feet off the ground, so you couldn’t shower properly.

The owner was kind and helpful, and the apartments were nicely furnished. There are two pleasant balconies, and the kitchen has dishes and all the tools you need. It’s a five-minute walk from the beach, with a relatively low price, as the trivago app says.

The hospitality from the owning family really makes this place feel focused on guests and their comfort. The apartment is peaceful and comfortable, with everything you need. It’s tucked away from street noise, yet the location is perfect, just 3 minutes from the beach and all kinds of shops. It feels like being at home.

Really good accommodation, and I’d recommend it for families. The apartments are quiet while still being close to attractions and the beach area. The staff are very friendly, and a special thanks to Alpar, sorry if I got the spelling wrong.
