Getting around was easy because the hotel is close to the beach, though it’s about a 30-minute walk to the center. The hotel itself is fine, but the service felt uninterested. We had to switch rooms several times because the balcony doors wouldn’t lock, and each time I carried the luggage myself. Nobody apologized. I’m used to hotels helping with bags from at least the first room change. The toilet seat was also much too small, so you’re basically sitting on the bowl. The person at checkout was someone else and much friendlier, which improved my final impression a little.

Getting to the waterfront takes about ten minutes on foot, and there’s a large Migros nearby. We had a lux room with two balconies, a bedroom, an extra bed, an iron, a smart TV, and a kitchen with what we needed. The interior was modern, the olive garden was beautiful, and there was private parking. Still, the room didn’t feel fresh, as my husband noticed right away, and the water pressure was weak. The frying pan was badly warped, so trying to use it on the induction hob felt like a dance with a tambourine. A solid 4/5.

We stayed at olives home for two nights and had a lovely time. The apartment was spotless and had a romantic design, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I don’t often give five stars, but this place deserves them.

The apartment was large and beautiful, with two balconies, and everything looked just like the website photos. There’s life all around, with bars and restaurants, and the beach is 100m away. Best of all, it’s pet friendly. Guests have secure parking on the next street, and reception is open 24 hours. We were so happy to find this place. The welcome was wonderful too.

The photos make the place look fancy, but it was dingy and felt like the pictures might have been taken years ago. It’s advertised as close to the beach, yet the neighborhood wasn’t somewhere I wanted to be in Marmaris. The location felt sketchy. We left two nights early and couldn’t get a refund. I wouldn’t recommend it.
