Labranda Mares Marmaris Hotel - All Inclusive

The setting is lovely, but the service let the place down badly. During meals, tables were rarely cleared or properly set, and most staff were unfriendly, with a few exceptions. Meal times were much too early for adults on holiday, perhaps more suited to families with children. The à la carte restaurants were fully booked, so we couldn’t eat there at all. Entertainment was very limited, with little to do, which isn’t what I expect from a 5-star resort. Drinks were poor across the board, from beer and wine to cocktails, and the cocktails were especially bad. Most of the bars listed in the hotel description were closed. The hotel area itself is beautiful, though the beach looks more like a lake. Apart from the location, I found the stay disappointing, and at best it’s a four-star experience. It wasn’t worth the money or another visit.

Our group of 130 came to Marmaris Icmeler district from September 30 to October 5, 2025, for our school’s 42nd graduation anniversary and a chance to reminisce. My wife and I had room 1210, which was spacious and comfortable. The pool, sea and other amenities were easy to reach. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the sea had Blue Flag status. We enjoyed the spacious restaurant and its tasty range of food, including local kebabs, soups, pide and desserts. The entertainment and show team were excellent, and I’d choose the hotel again. Before we arrived, Front Office Staff Ms. Emine Çetin Toka answered my questions and emails. Front Office Supervisor Mr. Volkan and Front Office Staff Ms. Zeynep were professional when we joined, and I’d like to thank them as well. Marmaris Labranda Mares Hotel is about 15 km from Marmaris city center. Dalaman Airport is the option for air arrivals, and you can arrange a private vehicle transfer. There’s covered parking for 12-15 vehicles, with an open lot available if those spaces are full.

We checked in and found the so-called restaurants were already booked for the whole week, so dining somewhere nice seemed out of reach unless you reserve before arriving. The rooms didn’t even have shampoo or body lotion, basics I’d expect at a budget motel, never mind a resort. The food and drinks were terrible, with watery cocktails, cheap alcohol and meals that looked and tasted like school cafeteria food. Staff were rude and disrespectful, and treated even simple requests as a burden. From arrival on, the whole stay felt like corners were being cut, with little care for guests or respect for what people pay. This was one of my worst resort experiences. If you want to spoil your holiday, come here. Otherwise, book somewhere else in Marmaris. Avoid La Branda Marmaris.

The hillside layout means steep paths, so it won’t suit people with limited mobility. The entertainment area is too small for all the hotel guests, and beach sunbeds are gone by sunrise, while the pool ones are taken by 9am. The hotel feels dated and needs a refurb. It’s definitely not a 5* Hotel, and the repetitive food wasn’t very nice.
