Bono Hotel Old Town

Thanks for the good service. The hotel was very clean and everything was good. The reception team were helpful, especially görkem. I really want to thank him for taking care of us and doing everything we needed. He was available all the time.

I spent five days here on vacation. The rooms, the staff and the meals we had at their bono resteurant were amazing. Everywhere I looked was so clean.

We booked four rooms for November 14-16 and stayed in the separate building, not the main hotel. It has four rooms, so we had the whole place to ourselves. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of town, just a 30-second walk from marina restaurants, cafes and shops. Rooms were clean, simple and functional, nothing fancy. Staff were attentive and quick to respond. I’d stay again.

The room itself was large and comfortable, and the location was good, but the problems outweighed the positives for us. We wouldn’t stay again or recommend it. It felt more like an Airbnb with a breakfast add-on than a hotel. We went to the address on the booking, but it was wrong, so we had to call and have someone come meet us. The old town is closed to cars and parking is far away, so having the correct location mattered when we were on the street with bags. There are several places with the same name, Bono. The booking said it was facing the beach, but that wasn’t where we stayed. Check-in for all of them is at a coffee shop in the old town, which also has rooms, and that was where we stayed. Breakfast was included but served at another Bono chain restaurant, a five-minute walk away. It only starts at 8:30 am, while boat tours begin at 9. We arrived at 8:27 and weren’t served until 8:55. It might have been fine if it were self-service or quick, but it wasn’t. We were told only one cup of tea was included, and even water cost extra. That wasn’t mentioned in the app. The room had terrible sound insulation. We could hear everything outside, and the gate slammed all night when other guests arrived. There was a glass-walled area in the middle, separating the single bed from the double bed. It had an outside door onto the street, covered only by a curtain that people outside could move. We didn’t use that area and wedged a chair against the curtain because people could see into the room.
