Fi Light Solto Boutique Beach Hotel

We spent a relaxing time with friends at the end of October, lounging on the deck in the daytime and eating at the hotel restaurant in the evening. Service was outstanding, and the restaurant, bar deck, and beach staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel stretches along the beach. Our room was in the main building and had a nice sea view. The restaurant was a delight, with amazing views and equally impressive food. Try the pasta with fresh crab and grilled octopus. Breakfast was served in a lovely, open area with beautiful sea views. From around 4-5 pm, the beach bar gets lively and the relaxed mood turns into a party scene. We truly enjoyed our stay at Solto Selimiye and hope to come back.

The pool and beach were both spotless and just a short walk from our rooms, which made things easy with the family. We rented two rooms. The hotel is small and pleasant, and the rooms were very clean. Staff were friendly, and downtown is about 10 minutes away. The food was so-so. Wi-Fi was horrible, though I’m not sure whether that’s a good or bad thing these days, and there’s no laundry service. Otherwise, it’s a great place to spend time with family.

From the start to the end of our stay, the staff made us feel the warmth of Turkish hospitality. They were professional, friendly, and always helpful. Mrs Vahide deserves a special thank you. We loved the sea, the food, and the location, and it was a real pleasure staying here. I’d recommend it to people I care about without hesitation. Hope to visit again. Greetings to Solto!

The café area smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that we couldn’t eat breakfast, the only meal included in the price. We weren’t happy with how much we paid, especially since everything seemed overpriced and they charge for every little thing. There wasn’t even a phone in the room, or basics like a toothbrush. When we said we were leaving, they ignored our request for help with the luggage, despite all the stairs between the room and the outside. The atmosphere felt unfriendly, and the place wasn’t worth the money.
