Hani Boutique Hotel

The hotel is pretty and clean, and it's only about a three-minute walk from the beach. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily; the pool is small but good and clean. Staff were friendly and nice, and for the price, everything felt worth it. The food was especially good, better than at some nearby hotels and restaurants. Some things were worn: parts of the furniture are old, the toilet seats don't stay in place well, and the balcony is very small. Even with those issues, we had a wonderful stay.

If you need a place that's affordable for sleeping and showering, this one works well. The staff are really friendly, humble and helpful. You get what you pay for, so don't expect luxury. Rooms are an okay size but a bit old, and the bathrooms are similar. Breakfast is provided, though the options are limited, and there's a swimming pool.

The location is nice and not too far from the beach, but the neighborhood felt empty and dirty. The hotel itself wasn't clean, the food wasn't tasty, and the internet was very poor. Breakfast was poor too, with few options, and I saw workers return food from plates to the buffet. The kitchen and workers didn't look clean. Staff had a separate teapot from the one used for guests, and one worker coughed on the food. There seemed to be very few workers: the same woman cooked, cleaned and sold things at the bar. The cats looked very dirty and were allowed to jump on tables. Rooms weren't cleaned every day. Water and snacks, or any food, weren't allowed in the rooms, while the hotel sold water and some meals at very high prices. When we arrived at 5 am, exhausted and without sleep, there was only one worker and he didn't greet us with a smile, despite what the reviews said. He wouldn't let us sit in the lobby. We argued, and he yelled at us. Our guide calmed him down by speaking Turkish, and then he let us stay. Whenever we closed our eyes, he came over loudly saying, «no sleep» and made annoying noises while moving chairs. I would rather have left and spent the night in a nearby park. We tried to be nice and avoid arguments, though not all the staff treated us well. I was so disappointed, I started to think they had written their own positive reviews. I don't recommend this hotel.

Great breakfast, a good location and friendly reception. Thanks, Shahmus. On the downside, the toilet flush kept getting stuck and the shower hose was broken. We were charged 50 lira for five small bottles of water, which should have been free.
