Marina Apart Otel

A good value, central hotel for a basic, comfortable stay. The helpful staff make it a good fit for business travellers, race sailors, or anyone arriving late and needing a night’s rest before carrying on.

The reception staff member was very polite and helpful, but the place itself was shockingly dirty and awful. I was genuinely surprised after reading reviews claiming the hygiene and cleanliness were high. It was diabolically filthy, despite those comments. There were holes in the ceiling, exposed wiring, a mouldy kitchen tap and dirty hallways. There’s no lift. The bathroom was tiny, and I had to leave the door open to look after my toddler. The shower and toilet were old and filthy. I could go on, but if you want a decent place to stay, don’t waste your time here. This is far from decent.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. The whole family took care of us and made sure we were comfortable. We chose a spacious one-bedroom apartment at a very convenient price, with AC, a kitchen, a light breakfast and a swimming pool. Downtown Marmaris is very close, about a five-minute walk. There’s no parking at the property, but you can usually find a spot nearby. We loved our stay, and this has become my regular place whenever I come back.

The breakfast was very poor, and there was no cleanliness. The place felt outdated, the TV didn’t work, and noise carried badly because of the tiles in the rooms and corridors.
