Sun Bay Park Hotel

The food was poor at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with very limited variety. They also left the débarras for days without clearing it. This is a dirty hotel. Housekeeping came maybe once every three days, not daily. Towels, sheets, pillows, and even the WC wall were dirty. Check the photos. Complaining made no difference, they didn’t care or take any action.

The room was advertised with Wi-Fi, but there was no connection there, only in the lobby. We booked all-inclusive and still weren’t given bottled water in the room, which I found unacceptable. Cleanliness was poor too. Water and beer cups seemed to be rinsed and reused, which felt unhygienic. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and don’t think it deserves its rating.

The staff were absolutely amazing, warm, friendly, and welcoming. I can’t fault the service, but it felt like they were giving five star service in a two star property. The building needs renovation. The bathroom decor is dated, and the glass in our bathroom door had a large crack. Food was another disappointment. Breakfast was the best meal, and I had an omelette every day. Lunch and dinner were hit and miss. I enjoyed the visit, but came home with an upset stomach and still haven’t fully recovered.

Very bad experience. I spent seven nights there and they didn’t clean the room, even after I asked several times. They only changed the towels. There was no water or napkins in the room, and everything was dirty. We spoke to the owner, but nothing was done and there was no response. They don’t care. Breakfast was the same all seven days. This place doesn’t deserve more than two stars.
