Green Bay Resort & Spa

We were six, with young children, and this was our first visit to green bay. The resort looks lovely, has beautiful surroundings, and the staff were welcoming. There was lots of space to sit or sunbathe, and we always found loungers at the beach or pool. The grounds and facilities were kept clean, and our small room was cleaned every day. It didn’t have much space for clothes, though, and there was no iron. The kids loved the waffles, and the woman who was usually at the station was lovely. Cocktails were especially good and freshly made. Water sports were easy to book, but cost extra. Meals were freshly prepared and good, though the choices didn’t always suit English tastes. My partner and I were fine with that, but we missed a few basic breakfast items, and I’d have liked more kinds of fruit. The children’s food was the same each day, so they got tired of it. There wasn’t much for families to do together. Volleyball, water polo, boules and similar activities were for adults, so we couldn’t join in without leaving the children. There was a full animation team, but for kids the options were the indoor kids club and the mini disco in the evening. Most of the mini disco was in Turkish, so my children couldn’t follow what was being said. Many staff spoke very little English. They were kind and friendly, but sometimes orders got mixed up because they didn’t understand what I’d asked for. The resort shop was ridiculously expensive: four bags of crisps cost £20. Some items had no prices displayed, and we were charged different amounts for the same things. The small water park had limited hours, 10-12 and 2-4, and there was no lifeguard. We would have preferred it to stay open, since families with younger children might choose that pool over the bigger one. It was also out of order for three days in a row.

The animation team kept busy with guests, and the evening entertainment was fun. My favorite was the Michael Jackson show. We mostly chose the sea over the pool, though. The guest relations team dealt with our requests quickly, and the room was cleaned properly when we asked. We stayed at Green Bay Resort Hotel from July 23rd to 31st, 2025. The setting, where green meets blue, felt peaceful and natural, and even with the large grounds we didn’t feel crowded, apart from a little during meals. Breakfast and dinner were both varied and delicious. The service staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, and the whole hotel seemed well managed. The team came across as disciplined and genuinely committed to their work. Thanks to everyone, we’d consider coming back. The Turkish dinner concept was fantastic. It might be nice to have themed dinners representing other countries or nationalities among the guests as well. And for anyone who prefers not to use air conditioning at night, mosquito screens on the room doors could be useful.

I’ve been back to Greenbay Resort and Spa for a second stay, and it already feels like home. It’s the people who make it special. The team make the place feel welcoming and safe, which meant a lot to me as a solo traveler. This time I tried paddleboarding with the water sports team, joined some lively blackjack games, and spent evenings listening to live music under the stars. Sinan’s animation team kept things lively during the day, especially with those unforgettable beach volleyball games. The adult pool was calm, with music that made it easy to unwind. There’s yoga and aqua aerobics at 10am if that’s your thing. Mehmet managed the food, which was consistently excellent, with lots of choice and good quality. I also had a wonderful deep tissue massage from Serap at the spa. Everything felt thoughtfully taken care of. I’m heading back to Scotland, but it feels like I’m leaving home in my beloved Turkey. Thanks to everyone who made the stay so special. I can’t wait to return ❤️

We booked for a relaxing week because of the airport location and facilities, and they lived up to expectations. The food was fresh with loads of choice. I know some people comment on it, but this is mainly a russian hotel, so be ready to try different delicacies. It was a great price for a week in the sun, and I’ll definitely come back.
