The hosts were so helpful, and there was nothing pretentious about the place. I wish more restaurants were like this. The food is local and distinctive, with a handmade, sincere feel throughout the meal, and it absolutely deserves its Michelin recommendation. The smoked eel, blessed thistle with yogurt, and okra were especially good.

At Agora in Baffa, you can taste the Aegean in every dish. They grow the ingredients themselves, and you can feel the care behind that farm-to-table cooking. The food is full of life, and the people are warm. That meal stayed with me long after I left.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed, and I liked its warm, natural feel. The peaceful countryside around Lake Baffa made it easy to relax. The host and his family were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. We had a delicious homemade dinner together, then went for a lovely hike the next morning. I do wish there'd been more information about things to do nearby. With hindsight, I might have booked a guided walking tour instead of exploring by myself. Still, it was a great stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone after a calm, authentic break.

The hike and boat tour were so good that I didn't want them to end, and the evening finished with a delicious Michelin dinner. Mithat was our guide, and he knew the history of the places so well. The location and hosting were great, and everything felt perfect. We didn't stay long enough, so we'll definitely have to come back. Cheers from Romania!
