Radisson Blu Hotel Istanbul Ottomare

Ms Gamze's leadership really showed in the friendly, coordinated service from the whole team. From arrival onward, everything was handled professionally and with care. She was approachable and attentive, and dealt quickly with our small concerns, helping make the stay comfortable and easy. The hotel clearly takes pride in its standards and in making guests feel welcome. I appreciate Ms Gamze's efforts and recommend the hotel to anyone visiting. We'll be back.

Coming from the UK, this was my first time in Istanbul, and the hotel is in a GREAT spot. Fiserkhane, with its fancy restaurants and small supermarkets, is a 10 minute walk away. So are lively local streets with cheap food and soft drinks. There's also a train station about 10 minutes away on foot, with direct service to central Istanbul on either the European or Asian side, which made getting around easy. Our room was comfortable and had coffee, tea and an iron. The outdoor pool area was great 🙂 We skipped breakfast and the restaurant because the prices seemed extortionate, so I can't comment on them 🙂

The breakfast was decent, with freshly cooked food and pastries. There wasn't a huge choice, but it was enough, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself is modern, though little maintenance issues around the property make it look bad. The room could use some minor upkeep, but nothing major affected comfort. The toilets definitely need a deep clean, although you'd only notice if you looked closely. Room service was frustratingly slow. We asked four times in the first two days for someone to unlock the minibar so we could use the fridge, even though they took a deposit for it at check-in. They were quick to take the deposit but not to let us use it.

Mert made our stay more pleasant. He was polite, kind and attentive, and looked after our little son so well. He often noticed what we needed before we even asked, then brought it over with care and professionalism. Thank you, Mert!
