Bademli Pino Otel

The hotel was clean, and I slept well. Breakfast was a surprise in the wrong way: one cherry tomato, four cucumber slices, a very thin piece of cheese, and an egg. It wasn’t enough to fill us up. We’d booked for one night, but music from what felt like a nightclub next door came straight into the room. Anyone sensitive to noise should keep that in mind.

I won’t choose this hotel again. It’s far from the center, and the room was so tiny there wasn’t even a mini fridge. The bed’s headboard couldn’t be placed against the wall, and the only way to reach the bathroom was through the gap between the bed and wardrobe. With the wardrobe open, you couldn’t get through. The bathroom was freezing, even though the weather wasn’t particularly cold. I left for another hotel the next day. I found the place through someone I knew, who quoted 900 TL for cash. Later I saw 800 TL on the maps, but didn’t make much of the difference. The receptionist warned me the room was small, then offered a bottle of water after I handed over my key. Water should already be in the room. Handing it to a guest like a donation was irritating. Management asked why I hadn’t changed my mind after seeing the room. I’d just arrived exhausted, probably around 2 AM, and didn’t feel up to going back to the center to search for somewhere else. I hope that answers it.

The staff were friendly and reception was helpful, and for the price it wasn’t bad. We’d booked ahead for a holiday night, but the room still needed a bit of cleaning. There’s no fridge, and sound carries badly from neighboring rooms, which could keep you awake.

The rooms were clean, but the staff seemed completely uninterested and offered no help. We booked two nights after being told there was a buffet breakfast. In the morning we got a basic plate with one piece of cheese, one piece of ham, and tomato salad. When I asked about it, the staff had no explanation, only saying there were no fridges in the rooms and that later arrivals would get the buffet. Don’t be taken in by the buffet claim. I won’t be going back.
