Calling this a five-star hotel feels misleading when even basic items are missing from the room. They wouldn't provide me with even one cotton pad when I asked. If I'd known, I would have brought one myself.

The location is excellent, breakfast was nice, and our standard room had a lovely view over the city and sea. It was also surprisingly spacious. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay, and when the sink began leaking late at night, they quickly offered us another room. The reception area made a nice first impression too. The rest of the property felt neglected. The hallways were dark and poorly maintained, the curtains were falling apart, the bathroom had several maintenance problems, and the furniture was worn. The phone and air conditioner were outdated, which might not have mattered so much if the room itself had been in better shape. The price felt high for what we got. After checking out, our plans changed and we needed another night in town, but we didn't consider coming back. Good service couldn't make up for the upkeep issues, and we felt the stay wasn't good value. This place has a lot going for it, including friendly staff and good-sized rooms, but it needs proper maintenance. It could easily be a four-star stay if the fixable problems were taken care of. I can only give it 2.5/5 as it is.

This is the best hotel in the area. The service is good, and the friendly staff are happy to help with requests.

I enjoyed the food, and the staff were both professional and friendly. Best hotel around here, highly recommended.
