Breakfast had a nice range of choices and tasted great, and the service was top-class. The location was convenient for getting around but still quiet enough to rest. My room was spacious, spotless, peaceful, and comfortable, with a clean modern bathroom and all the amenities I could want. The bed was amazing, and housekeeping did a fantastic job each day. The staff were welcoming and professional throughout, always glad to help. Special thanks to Orhan and Asiye for making my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service.

Reception was courteous at both check-in and check-out. The rooms are bright and spacious, and the hotel has a fresh, modern look. Parking is available and access is convenient. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was a letdown. We came for dinner and chose the buffet, but after sitting down nobody came over for a long time, so we had to set the table ourselves. Breakfast was much the same. Both meals are offered as open buffets, but the food selection seemed weak for a five-star hotel. On our last day they switched breakfast to a set selection without telling us beforehand. We didn’t mind, since it wasn’t a crucial issue, but we had booked expecting a buffet and the meal still didn’t feel five-star. There were some room details missing too: no bathrobes, no coffee machine or coffee, only two tea cups, and no water glasses. In winter the underfloor heating didn’t work. The air conditioner worked well, but the bathroom stayed cold. I stayed in four-star hotels in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Milan two weeks earlier. In my opinion, this Cappadocia hotel was weaker than those or about on the same level. I’d call it a solid four-star hotel, not a five-star one.

The cats around the hotel were a bonus for me as a cat lover. I stayed one night through our travel agency and found the room cozy, unusual, and very spacious. Dinner was okay, but breakfast got crowded, and lots of food ran out quickly before staff refilled it, which took a while. I had a good stay overall. The bathroom handle in my room was broken, so I couldn’t lock the door when using it. That’s why I’m giving four stars instead of five.

I didn’t stay overnight, but I went to the spa and had a massage there with my fiancée. It was a really calm day, probably because nobody else was there. The interior was lovely and peaceful, and the massage visit included full access to the saunas and indoor pool. I’d definitely go back.

Barceló Cappadocia has beautiful rooms and a very luxurious feel, with facilities like a pool, spa, and Turkish bath. The reception staff were polite and helpful, and the room itself was excellent. Getting around was difficult because the hotel is far from town and restaurants. The food at the hotel was extremely expensive and didn’t feel worth the price, which caused us a lot of inconvenience. We also couldn’t use the pool, even though it was included in our booking. We had suitable swimwear, but a spa staff member insisted we buy clothing from the hotel shop. The language barrier meant we couldn’t resolve it. We’d also initially been promised a hot tub room, then were told it wasn’t available. The location, dining, and access to facilities were disappointing.
