Maron Stone House

We had a wonderful terrace for watching the balloons in the morning, though it was too cool to sit out there. The hotel is near the town centre, restaurants, and shops, so it’s easy to get around on foot. We stayed 4 nights. The design is quirky and the rooms are average. We had only two electrical switches for charging phones and other things, but the wifi was good. Breakfast got repetitive, and the servers seemed more focused on their cellphones than on guests. In our room, the shower wasn’t separate from the bathroom, so the floor was always wet. If you’re not a fussy traveller, it’ll meet your needs.

The room was as advertised, very cosy, and the daily breakfast was simple but hearty. You could enjoy it with a lovely view of the skies and city. We were recommended the green tour and really enjoyed it. Behedir, who was really nice, went out of his way to let me use the common shower after checkout. Friendly staff and a great hotel!

Breakfast was included, which mattered to us since we didn’t want to hunt for somewhere to eat first thing in the morning. The location of Maron Stone House was very convenient and the price reasonable. The staff were lovely and always helpful, and they arranged airport shuttles in both directions for a fee. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

We loved having breakfast in the seating area with the views. It was freshly cooked and had a good variety. The terrace was also perfect for watching the hot air balloons at sunrise, so I went up every day with a hot drink in a flask 😘👌💯. Our room was a good price and came with a jetted bath tub, air-con, heater, TV, and kettle. The shower pressure was great too. The hotel is small and laid-back, tucked away from the touristy main street but still within walking distance of places, with a small supermarket around the corner. Staff were friendly and helped us book quad bike and horse riding trips. Special mention to “Hossein”, who went above and beyond and made our stay memorable. 5 star service, highly recommend!
