Nicholas Garden Hotel

Hisaronu is one of my favourite places, and this stay hasn't put me off going back. But arriving with my older children in the early hours of 22nd May at new st. Nichlolas garden was awful. We'd paid in advance, yet it took nearly an hour to get my room key. When we finally got into the family room, the fridge was covered in black mould, the beds were filthy and crawling with bugs, and the bathroom was too dirty to use. There was also a huge wasps' nest on the balcony, and the walls and kitchen unit weren't fit to use. I couldn't find anyone to complain to, so we had to walk around Hisaronu until 8am. The owner wasn't interested when I raised it and refused my refund request because I couldn't let my kids sleep there. I've taken photos and complained to the company we booked through. I've never felt so disheartened during all my visits to Turkey. The owner was rude and unhelpful. We'll still return to Hisaronu, but be careful where you book. The place wasn't even fit for animals.
