Evimiz Hotel

The cable car (teleferik) is nearby, and from Boztepe you can take in a stunning view over the city or maybe try tandem paragliding. The hotel itself is small and cozy, right by the sea. You can see it from the window and reach the shore by crossing the street. Restaurants, bakeries, and shops selling fresh produce, herbs, spices, and handicrafts are about a five-minute walk away. Mr. Salih, the owner, was there every day and was kind and helpful. We had lots to talk about while I was staying there and after I left, and I can't wait to see him again. Some small technical problems in my room led to an upgrade to a much larger, nicer room. The rooms have blackout curtains, big comfortable beds with massive wooden frames, strong water pressure, and very large shower stalls. There's a mini fridge and an electric kettle in each room. Everything was clean, and with my fragrance allergy I appreciated that the towels and bedding didn't smell of heavily scented detergent or softener. Wi-Fi and AC both worked well. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of vegetarian options. The staff greeted me with a smile each morning and were happy to accommodate dietary needs and preferences. The lobby and restaurant are beautifully designed, comfortable places to spend time during the day or evening. I loved all the plants around the hotel, it felt like a botanical garden, with trees, shrubs, succulents, flowers, and vines everywhere.

The staff were wonderful, and it's a nice hotel. I'd recommend it for families. Much love from Saudi Arabia.
