Dalyan Garden Pension

I'm just back from another fantastic stay at Dalyan Garden Pension. Cathy, Ercan and their lovely staff looked after me so well. I had such a relaxing time in this wonderful place, with a delicious breakfast, very comfortable beds and clean rooms. It's my favourite place to stay, and I'll definitely return.

If you want somewhere quiet and friendly to relax, Dalyan Garden Pension is a lovely choice. Ercan and Cathy are welcoming hosts, and their garden and splendid pool are perfect for taking it easy. Breakfast is a generous Turkish spread, prepared by a great cook and served in the garden by attentive staff who don't hover. The rooms are good quality and well kept, with good facilities. This isn't somewhere for anyone expecting all-inclusive five-star luxury, but for peace, comfort and generous hosts, it's well worth a visit.

I've stayed here five times and never had reason to complain. The place is incredibly clean, and Cathy, Ercan and the staff look after you so well. The garden and pool are lovely, with birds chattering through the day, and it's a peaceful spot for couples. There's a mosque nearby, so you hear the call to prayer four times a day. Children are fine if supervised, though in my opinion the pool area isn't really designed with them in mind.

It's about a 15-minute walk to Dalyan centre, and there's a little bar at the hotel selling drinks, snacks and lunch. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely pool and jacuzzi. Turkish breakfast is served outside, with local honey, homemade jam, fruit, bread, boiled eggs, cheese and savoury pastries. Delicious! Rooms are very clean and the beds are generously sized. We paid around £50-£55 a night. I'd go back.
