Portakal Dalyan Boutique-hotel

This was our second stay at this lovely hotel, and we were just as pleased as the first time. It’s small, but they clearly care about keeping guests happy. Ramos and Mahmoud at the pool bar gave top-notch service and made lovely cocktails fresh. Ewupt at reception was amazing and always happy to help. The hotel was very clean, including the rooms, and breakfast was freshly prepared with a good choice. It’s easy to get into the town centre from here. I’d recommend it for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

The Portakal hotel in Dalyan made our holiday. We’ll definitely return. It’s peaceful, and the bars, nightlife and restaurants are only about a 10-minute walk away, or a short taxi ride that reception is happy to arrange. When we arrived at 11pm, we were greeted warmly and shown to a lovely, clean room. We then relaxed at the poolside bar, where Ramazan made us feel welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the owners even came to reception to wave us off while we waited for our transfer back to reality.

A good choice for a quiet break. The front of house is managed very well, and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool area is small, but there’s always been shade and a sunbed available. It’s away from the town centre bustle, though only a gentle 10-minute stroll away.

We’re certainly planning to return after a lovely five-day break. The hotel sits right by the river, with a great garden and a very nice fish restaurant next door. It’s around a 10-minute walk into town. The staff were all great, especially Ramazam, the bar manager, and the owner. They couldn’t do enough for us.
