We could walk to Ortahisar Castle, and the view from the window was lovely. It was easy to get there by car and parking was available. The place was comfortable, clean, and warm even in winter, with high-quality service. Breakfast was delicious and offered lots of variety.

The Turkish breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. Each day brought a generous spread of cheeses, jams, fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs including meneme, cakes, and homemade snacks like borek and gozleme, with the selection changing daily. We felt like sultans, and it was all served with a smile. The terraces had serene, picturesque views of Ortahisar castle, the mosque, and Mount Erciyes, day and night. From here it was easy to reach Cappadocia's sights without Goreme's busyness. Ahmet greeted us with a smile and came out to help guide us with parking. Their cute cat, Pasha, would sometimes stop by to check on us. Our room was beautifully decorated, with hand painted walls and mosaic paintings, and we couldn't fault it. The water pressure was great. We also found a lovely nearby square with homemade food at Yigit Cafe and Restaurant. When we checked out, the family came to wave goodbye and gave us a little gift. Everything was perfect. Saliha, thank you for the wonderful breakfast. Ahmet and family, thank you for your hospitality.

Ortahisar is a quiet, quaint town that gave us a peaceful base near the main Cappadocia attractions, away from the busy, overrated area of Göreme. We loved unwinding here and taking in the spectacular view of Ortahisar Castle from this gorgeous, intimate hotel. Our late arrival went smoothly. The hosts welcomed us warmly, helped with our bags, and offered snacks and tea. We used translator apps to bridge the language gap, but their kindness came through clearly. They were also responsive and accommodating before we arrived, as we booked through Airbnb, and during our stay they shared lots of recommendations for the area. The place surpassed our expectations. Our room was even larger and more beautiful in person, and it was super clean. The whole hotel is picturesque, with careful aesthetic details, hand-painted murals and doors, and several lounge spots for sitting with the view. At night, the lights made a warm, romantic setting while still leaving room for stargazing. It was a perfect place for my partner and me to start and finish our daily adventures. The traditional Turkish breakfast was delicious each morning, and after hiking all day, relaxing in our room's jacuzzi felt heavenly. The property, location, breakfast, and team were incredible. Hospitality 10/10, highly recommend this boutique hotel. Wishing you much success, and thanks for having us! Alex & Carolina

The view was beautiful, and the hotel was wonderfully peaceful. I was so glad to meet Saliha and Ahmed, who are both kind and lovely. Breakfast was delicious too. Ten out of ten for Saliha, Ahmed, and the hotel management. Thanks for making our trip so beautiful. I'd definitely recommend it. ❤️❤️

We chose this place for our baby's first birthday, staying two nights during our first winter trip with a little one. The owner let us decorate the room and take photos wherever we liked, and the whole visit felt relaxed and welcoming. The staff at reception were kind, and they showed us room 104 before we settled in. The room had a lovely feel, with a view, terrace, and a kitchenette that made it easy to cook something for the baby. The furnishings and decor were clean, attractive, and well cared for, with thoughtful touches like nice lighting, room fragrance, air conditioning, underfloor heating, and carpets. There was plenty of space for the baby to move around, and a playpen had already been set up for us. We also enjoyed the bathroom jacuzzi and the bath sponges. I couldn't think of anything missing. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight. The glass-enclosed spaces had stoves and electric heaters, so it felt warm and inviting. The kitchen and dining area were very tidy, and when I went to ask for tea I noticed how spotless the kitchen was. I think the two women there were Saliha and Havva. They put breakfast together beautifully, using fresh ingredients that smelled good, and brought different choices each day. When we asked for tea in our room, they prepared a thermos and cups for us. In the evenings we ordered food from outside and ate comfortably at the hotel. I do think it would be nice if dinner were available there too. I hadn't expected an online find to suit us so well, but I would gladly come back. It felt like a place I could visit with peace of mind, and the family warmth and friendly service were wonderful.
