Polonezköy Country Club & Accommodation in the Wildlife Park

The place itself is beautiful, but I had a bad experience because I care about animal welfare. There were pets kept close to wild animals, and the pug and English bulldog had lots of fleas and ticks. They didn't have a clean, comfortable place to sleep either. It was sad to see how the animals were being treated.

The animals were a real highlight, and we found the staff friendly and quick to respond. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Still, there are some things worth knowing before you go. We had loads of mosquitoes, but nobody warned us, so come prepared. Breakfast on the balcony could have been nice, except around 100 flies attacked the food, and there's nowhere to eat inside. The room was about 27 degrees at 9 pm. There was no AC, and no one told us ahead of time. I can't sleep above 23, so we suffered until 1 AM and only managed four hours of sleep. We were sweating with the baby all day. The room was much too small, barely 24m2, with no windows, just a main door that let flies in every time it opened. The stroller got stuck most of the time, or we had to carry it. The wildlife was just a wolf, buffalo, and fox, near the cafe. Save yourself the tiring trip and start at the Cafe, then turn around at the buffalo, you're welcome. Wi-Fi worked near the balcony and bed but got weaker toward the back of the room. The paths and steps didn't feel very safe, with no rails, so kids couldn't walk freely and even adults had to watch their step. Owners, please put AC in the rooms, especially for summer. And include some cold water for guests, or tell them to bring it, especially if they're first timers and not locals.

We had a fantastic time, every moment of the adventure was enjoyable. It's a proper escape from the city's noise. The staff were lovely, especially Kübra, who was amazing and helped us with everything. Just watch out for mosquito bites.

I can't wait to go back to this Country Club. We had an awesome stay, especially if you love nature and animals. I never expected to eat breakfast beside deer and pet peacocks 🦚😁. Eren deserves a big shout out for being such a kind, attentive host. He knows a lot and was really helpful. Highly recommended 😊
