I had to go down to reception to ask for towels because there was no phone in the room. They never brought them up, and when I went back to see what happened, there was just one towel instead of the two I’d requested, sitting on the dirty reception counter. The room looked clean at a glance, but the sheets and blanket had stains. The bathroom was dirty and had no hot water, and the shelf was so dusty it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. There were no towels in the room, and the service was poor.

The staff were lovely and respectful, and the chef is a good man. The team were helpful day and night.

The price was reasonable, and compared with other hotels I’ve seen here, it’s still a good option. The location is nice and the room was fairly clean, though management weren’t as responsive as I’d hoped. After a 17-hour trip, I had to carry my own bags when I arrived. I also waited three days for a refrigerator in my room.

The view from my room was lovely, haha. The rooms were about average for cleanliness, and some staff were friendly. It wasn’t the best place in the area, and my room didn’t have enough towels or any soap.

The room was much cleaner after the changes in staff and management. Manager Mr Mustafa Asan is the best, and he’s taken Miray Hotel to another level.
