The architecture is stunning and full of history. The coffee museum was a highlight of my visit to Safranbolu, and I bought some coffee there too. If you visit safranbolu, this place is a must-see.

This impressive building dates back to the 17th century and now serves as a hotel. Visitors can go inside, though you can’t wander around. There’s a coffee museum on the first floor where you can get refreshments.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that side of it. I came for the coffee museum and cafe. The museum is tiny but interesting, and I thought the coffee was quite good and unusual. The historic building itself is interesting too. It was surprisingly quiet, even though it’s in the center of the Old Town.

Room 216 was lovely, and the price was just ₺550 for the room and breakfast. It was quiet and full of history. Great experience, with five-star breakfast and service. Highly recommended!

The waiter chased me out because I didn’t realize visitors weren’t allowed. I wasn’t even asked if I wanted a table, possibly because I’m Asian. It’s shameful to see a historical building turned into such an arrogant commercial venue.
