The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, with homemade dishes prepared from regional products. We came as a family with our one and a half year old son, and felt at home right away. Kemal welcomed us so warmly, and the owner was helpful and pleasant. We shared lovely moments over tea after dinner and by the fire. The hotel is a fully renovated mansion that still keeps the classic touch of Ottoman architecture. It’s about a 10-minute drive from Safranbolu’s historic center, but I think staying here is well worth it. I highly recommend it.

I don’t usually enjoy leaving home to travel or sightsee, and when my wife suggested a two-day trip, I agreed reluctantly. I’m glad I did. We met Mr. Kemal (+) and saw what can happen when someone puts love into their work (++). The place was calm, comfortable, and clean, with the warmth of visiting distant family. If you want a break from city crowds and noise and still want to feel at home, this is the spot. Go for a stay and you’ll be pleased. I came away thinking, “I’m so glad we got away for a few days…”

The mansion has a lovely feel, and everything from the room cleanliness to the atmosphere and carefully chosen furnishings was done really well. We spent a peaceful, beautiful evening here, and the breakfast was especially amazing. Thanks again to Mr. Kemal and his elegant wife. One of the nicest places to stay in Safranbolu.

We came with friends as two families with children, and the design and cleanliness of the place impressed us. The breakfast was easily the best we’ve had in years, so much so that we thought about adding another night just to have it again. This really lives up to being a boutique hotel, and we’re leaving with a wonderful holiday memory. Highly recommend it.
