My Turkey road trip was meant to start in İstanbul, with Karasu as the first stop. I checked out the hotel room and was really happy with it, but my wife had left her passport and ID back home in Istanbul. So the whole trip got cancelled and I drove back home. 😂😂😂

The room was spacious and clean. Staff spoke very little English, so thank goodness for Google Translate. We went across the road for breakfast, which was fresher and cheaper than at the hotel.

Everything was very clean, and the location was perfect, near the beach, restaurants, and shops.

It's a simple place in a handy location, with modern rooms and friendly staff. Everything was clean and looked after. There was no breakfast, perhaps because it was the off-season? I'd happily recommend it.

We stayed for one night while touring the Black Sea. The room was roomy, modern, and clean, and breakfast was generous and tasty. The receptionist was lovely and helpful. The bathroom drain had an unpleasant smell, though.
