Mayan Bungalows

The service was zero. We were told checkout was at 11 am, but waited until 10 am and still nobody brought the free breakfast listed in the reservation section. We knocked at the office to return the keys and no one was there for half an hour. In the middle of the night, the electricity kept cutting in and out for half an hour, and we couldn’t work out why. We went for a day trip, and the pool water could have been warmer. There was no shampoo, soap, or shower gel, ants were crawling around the kitchen, and the washed dishes were stained. They could at least provide a dishwasher. The charcoal we brought wasn’t enough, and when we asked management for more, they said they’d give us some for a handful.

We stayed for two nights. The rooms and pool temperature were in good shape, so in general it was a good stay. The cats were a real nuisance, though. You can’t leave the door open because they come right in, and eating outside at a table wasn’t peaceful either. The TV was old, with no internet access for watching movies. We also waited for breakfast to be brought to the door, but it never came, so we went into the town center to get it ourselves. It’s not bad, and could be better if these issues were fixed. Still, thank you.

The house and garden were spotless, and the pool was especially clean. My wife and I had a great time, and the stay exceeded what I expected. Cats gathered around while we were barbecuing, but there wasn’t much we could do. It’s a place you can choose with confidence. See you again!

A calm, relaxing place with excellent cleanliness and attentive staff. Thanks for everything, I’d definitely recommend it.
