MC Sapanca Hotel

The bungalow was clean and comfortable, and it felt like we were tucked away from the tourist attractions. I liked sitting outside for meals on the terrace swing, and being able to have our own BBQ was great. The loud music from the pool carried everywhere, which was disappointing in a nature focused place. We asked three different times for it to be turned down enough to still hear by the pool but not in the bungalows. Each time, it went back up after only a few minutes. The playlist had just three songs, on repeat all day, which was strange. I mentioned the repeated requests at reception when checking out, but the woman gave me a fake smile. Breakfast wasn’t included and cost a lot per person, which seemed cheeky, though it was delicious. If you’re after a night away and don’t mind loud music, it’s a good spot.

We had a lovely stay in the spotless bungalows, and going with a group made the resort feel like it was all ours. I’d held off on five stars until the Google Maps location was corrected. They fixed the coordinates, so five stars now :)

It’s a beautiful place, but I got food poisoning from the restaurant and the staff wouldn’t do anything about it. The room was also far too hot. It has two floors, but the only AC is downstairs, and when I raised that, they just insisted it worked fine. They wouldn’t let me cancel or get a refund. It felt like the money mattered more to them than customer service.

The quiet and nature here are something else. It’s comfortable and well equipped, and we loved our stay ❤️
