Our first bungalow holiday began with a lot of excitement, but we left hungry and disappointed. We’d been told breakfast wasn’t part of the price and could be bought separately, so we agreed to pay for it. They said it would arrive at 10 a.m.; when I messaged at about 10:25, I only got an “okay,” and after another call around 11, a breakfast supposedly for two arrived, like the one in the photo. The bread was stale. I doubt anyone sent it that way on purpose, but they should’ve checked. I even walked around with the tray looking for someone to ask whether that was really meant for two, but couldn’t find anyone and went back to the room. 😀 I told the person who booked us, and they said they’d make it right and send someone over. Nobody called or came. The next day we waited to see whether breakfast would show up, then left around 11 without eating. We had to contact staff by phone. One person handled things on the first day. We asked for extra towels and were told they’d come in an hour. After waiting, we called again, and they finally arrived. The place is far from the center, with a rough, mountain-trail kind of road that’s hard to travel. When it rains, there’s mud everywhere. The rooms didn’t look like they do on social media. At least the room was warm, and they’d turned on the air conditioning before check-in, which was a nice touch. But cleaning was an issue. We caught and killed about 10 stink bugs in two nights. The jacuzzi water looked cloudy, and hot water would sometimes stop during the day, though it was only hot in the evenings. The pool wasn’t clean enough either, and its water was lukewarm. The steam and hot water shown in the videos were less than we expected.

The only things I liked were the location and the natural surroundings. You can find better places elsewhere. I booked a one-night stay in January because the price was lower and the photos looked good, and I regret it. Hygiene was the biggest problem: there was a dried chocolate mark on the table, hairs in the jacuzzi, dirt on the loungers, dust on the garden furniture, and plenty more. The garden furniture was falling apart, with no cushions and broken pieces. The heated pool wasn’t very hot, debris had fallen into it from the cover, and there was so much chlorine that it was hard to breathe. We couldn’t use the jacuzzi. The tap ran so weakly that it would take until morning to fill, and the water was very dirty. When I reported it, I was brushed off with a comment that something was malfunctioning and they’d look into it. They charge 400 lira for a sack of firewood for the barbecue, but the wood was wet and barely burned. I was glad I’d brought my own blankets, because otherwise they wouldn’t have been enough. The toilet seat was broken, and there was no hairdryer in the bathroom. I could go on, but the business felt extremely careless, like our stay didn’t matter.

The only decent parts were the warm pool and the heat at breakfast. For what we paid, the room and service were absolutely zero. We went despite reading a few negative reviews, and they turned out to be completely accurate. Floorboards, table legs, chair legs, the toilet, and bathroom tiles were broken. The hair dryer was broken too. The electricity went out for nearly two hours in the evening, and the room got freezing. They’re happy to sell you firewood, but couldn’t get a generator running to keep the power on. Bring wood, or you could freeze. Would I come back? Absolutely not.

The pool temperature and the air conditioning were the only good things. We weren’t satisfied, and the hygiene was poor. The seats and pillows were dusty and dirty, and smelled like dust. The garden seating was dusty and broken too. The price may be reasonable, but the service was zero. I’d pay 3-5 more for peace of mind. They only deliver dinner from one place they’ve partnered with, even though when we booked, we were told food from Trendyol would come. They moved us to another bungalow after I asked whether there were any others, thankfully, but that one was only a little better. In the first place, some parquet flooring was broken, a stair step to the bedroom was broken, and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay put. The air conditioning worked, though it didn’t warm the room much. In the next bungalow, lots of things needed replacing. The sink faucet was loose and leaked from the sides even when turned off. The toilet faucet did the same, and the shower head leaked in three places. There were spider webs in some spots. I know it’s surrounded by nature, but guests stay 2-3 days and the bungalow should be cleaned afterward. There wasn’t a closet, so our things ended up scattered around, and there weren’t enough wall hooks. The slippers were so flimsy they were almost paper, and the towels weren’t enough. We had to dry off with the same towel we’d used after the pool. The kitchenware was in poor condition, rotten or broken in places. The bungalow and pool stairs were also problematic. Hot water stopped after a while when the second person showered. On the first day, the water was cut off while my wife was still covered in foam. They said the drought was causing it. Water gets cut off where we live too, and we have to call the authorities and keep checking as the cut-off time approaches. A resort should plan for that. Breakfast was served outside in the cold and there wasn’t enough, so bring food if you go. It’s far from the center, up on a mountain, and you can’t just run out and get something in five minutes. On the second day, the chef was sick and breakfast was late. Around 10:45, the attendant covered the pool while serving breakfast without waiting for us to leave, even though we still had an hour and could’ve gone back in. We’d just finished eating and wanted to wash our hands, but the water was off. They said a pipe had burst and they’d send someone right away. That can happen, but when I called, it was fixed immediately and the water came back.

The place is quiet and peaceful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. Mr. Yunus greeted me with a friendly manner and gave us a very warm welcome. Security also seemed well handled. Thanks for everything. ☺️
